Background Information

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery currently requires 4 to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. As an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Buche manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Buche has been trained in a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal under deep intravenous sedation  He can also diagnose and treat facial pain and facial injuries. Dr. Buche does not offer cosmetic surgical procedures and no longer performs orthognathic surgery. He performs a full range of dental implant procedures and spends a great deal of time refining his skills in this important  surgical area. Most of his clinical time is now spent in the office at 3015 Green Meadow Drive in San Angelo, but he is on the staff at both Shannon Medical Center and Community Medical Center when hospitalization is needed.  Providing a comfortable and safe surgical experience- at a reasonable fee- is high priority.  Our goal in this office is to make the experience a pleasant one.

Dr. Buche's staff is trained to assist  with IV Sedation and deep IV Sedation in a state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. Full general anesthesia can be provided in a hospital setting for those special patients who require this service. Meticulous attention to detail during instrument sterilization and constant awareness of the need to maintain the highest standards of infection control guarantees a safe surgical environment for all patients. Safety for the patient is the highest priority.
